Waniwani

Paris / San Francisco / NYC
Waniwani is building the AI distribution infrastructure for the $10T services economy. We enable service vendor to sell quote-based services (insurance, financing, wealth, software and more) directly inside LLMs like ChatGPT, where buying decisions are moving, and built the Agent to Agent commerce future. Our first product generated its own type of SaaSpocalypse. We launched the world's first insurance app unlocking quotes in ChatGPT. It triggered $79B market crash for the world's largest brokers. The press called it "the industry's ChatGPT moment." Now thousands of companies want to deploy their own AI-native storefronts through our infrastructure. We are global from day one: US, Australia, Middle East, Korea, Europe. Our team is small, the ambition is not.
The Role
Clients hire Waniwani because we deliver. This role ensures delivery stays world-class as we scale. You will own the delivery function, the operating cadence, and the systems and agentic workflows that make execution predictable. You will set standards, create leverage, and build the team over time.
What you’ll own

Client outcomes: scope control, timelines, quality bar, stakeholder management, and executive communication. Clear accountability from kickoff to sign-off.

Delivery leadership: run the portfolio, allocate resources, and make the hard trade-offs. Escalate early, decide fast, and keep work moving.

Customer-facing operating cadence: weekly health reporting, milestones, risk tracking, and crisp written updates that clients trust.

The internal OS: SOPs, templates, QA checklists, dashboards, and handoffs that make delivery repeatable and auditable.

Agentic operations: automation, internal copilots, and reusable assets that remove manual work and compound across projects.

Build the function: hire and lead a small ops and delivery team as volume grows; define roles, rituals, and performance expectations.

You

You’ve led client delivery in an agency, consultancy, or high-velocity startup.

You operate like an owner: structured thinking, strong judgment, and relentless follow-through.

You communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and can hold a firm line on scope and priorities.

You build systems that get adopted, then evolve them with real feedback.

You can hire, coach, and set a high bar.

Head of Business Operations

Founded in 2025 by Lydia Bellahouel (CEO) and Camille Epitalon (CTO), Verso is backed by Hexa (eFounders), the pioneer startup studio in Europe, having launched 35+ companies, including unicorns like Front, Aircall and Spendesk combining 230m+ ARR and 750m raised.Verso is rewriting the rules of consumer research, in a market that is being highly disrupted by AI. We need a seasoned industry voice who can walk into any insights team in the world, earn their trust in the first ten minutes, and show them a better way.About Verso & who we areVerso is an AI-native consumer research platform. Our AI conducts 1:1 qualitative interviews at scale in any language, then analyzes transcripts into structured, actionable reports in under a week, at a fraction of traditional cost. We serve global brands across the world. We are a small team with high standards and a clear thesis: consumer research has been broken for decades, and AI is finally the right tool to fix it.Verso was founded by Lydia & Camille. Lydia spent 7 years at BCG leading AI-powered transformation for CPGs and knows the pain inside out. Camille is an AI expert and pioneer in agentic systems. Why this role existsWe have built an AI that runs qualitative interviews at scale and turns interviews into structured insights. The technology works. What we need now is someone who can help us scale with intention: someone who brings structure to our growth without slowing it down, and who can hold the strategic and the operational in the same hand. This is a role for someone who is genuinely comfortable operating at the level of ideas and the level of execution, sometimes on the same day, and who finds that energizing rather than exhausting. You will work directly with the founders across everything that sits at the intersection of strategy, delivery, and product. You will own things, not just advise on them. And because you will see every part of the business, you will have real influence over where we go next. What you will own

Operational backbone. You design and own the processes that make Verso run: how studies are scoped, staffed, tracked, and delivered. You identify where things break before they actually break, and you fix them without waiting to be asked.

Strategic clarity. You help the founders think through the decisions that matter: which markets to prioritize, how to structure our offer, what our roadmap should look like in 12 months. You are comfortable with ambiguity and know how to bring structure to a messy problem without oversimplifying it.

Product translation. You sit at the intersection of client feedback and product development. You synthesize what you observe across studies and client conversations into clear, actionable input for the product and engineering team. You understand what clients actually need versus what they say they need.

Cross-functional glue. In a small team, things fall through the cracks when everyone is heads-down. You are the person who notices, connects the dots, and makes sure the right people are talking to each other at the right moment.

Fundraising and investor relationships. You work closely with the founders on fundraising strategy, support key materials and analysis, and help manage relationships with current and prospective investors

Special projects. Some of the most important work at an early-stage company does not have a job title yet. You are the person who picks up those projects, runs them, and hands them off or scales them as Verso grows.

Who you are

3 to 5 years of experience, with a strong foundation in consulting, strategy, or a chief of staff role at a fast-growing company

You have structured ambiguous problems before, turned them into a clear framework, and then actually implemented something, not just written the deck

You are comfortable with data: you can pull a spreadsheet apart, build a model, interpret an output, and know when a number is telling you something important

You have a genuine appetite for tech: you do not need to code, but you understand how software is built, you ask good product questions, and you are curious about what AI actually makes possible

You write clearly and think in writing. A tight one-pager from you is something people want to read.

You have low ego about the work: you are as comfortable building a tracking sheet as you are presenting a strategic recommendation to a client

You are looking for a first or second startup experience where you can own things end to end, not a corporate role with a narrow mandate

This role is for you if:

You enjoy being in the middle of everything and bringing order to complexity without needing perfect information

You like switching from strategy to execution in the same day and don’t see some tasks as “below” you

You want to work closely with founders and have real influence on how a company is built from early on

This role is not for you if:

You need clear scope, stable processes, and well-defined ownership to be effective

You prefer advising over owning, or thinking over doing

You are looking for a predictable role with clean boundaries rather than constant context-switching

What makes this role unusual

There is no playbook. You will write it and make it yours.

You will have visibility into every part of the business and access to the founders from day one: commercial, product, research, operations. Few roles at this stage of a company give you that breadth.

The decisions you help us make in the next 12 months will shape the architecture of how Verso operates for years. That is a rare kind of leverage.

You will work directly with two founders who want to be challenged. If you see something that is not working, we want to know. Speed of feedback is a feature, not a threat.

Recruitment process

Intro call with Hexa's Talent team (30 minutes)

Fit call with Lydia to understand your background (30 minutes)

A real Verso situation to assess how you structure a problem, prioritize, and move from thinking to execution (take-home and 45 minutes restitution with Lydia and Pierre, lead PM )

Deep-dive interview with Lydia and Camille to go deeper on your experience, thinking, and how you’d shape the role (45 minutes)

Verso is committed to creating a diverse environment. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment irrespective of gender, origin, identity, background, and sexual orientation. We know there’s a long way to go regarding diversity in our industry, which is why we encourage all applicants - especially those listed above - to apply to our open positions.

Unsolicited Application (old)

Who we areHexa is building the infrastructure for exceptional entrepreneurs, wherever they are in their journey. Our founding activity is a startup studio (Hexa Start): we create companies from scratch with outstanding founders, and support them intensively from idea to product-market fit. But we've grown beyond that. Hexa Sprint supports early-stage startups that already exist and need to accelerate hard. Hexa Scale works with more mature companies ready to go to the next level. Three distinct models, one shared ambition: back the right people and help them build something that lasts.Earlier this year, we brought Tanguy Goretti on board as our CTO, a signal of where we're headed. He operates as a tech leader and ecosystem builder: supporting founders across our portfolio on technical decisions, pushing Hexa's employer brand in the engineering world, building partnerships with the best tools and labs out there, and helping early-stage CTOs level up. He's running a high-leverage function, and he's looking for someone to join him. The roleYou'll work directly alongside Tanguy and you're here to build! What you'll actually do

Build internal tools that give our founders and core team an edge, on fundraising, recruiting, GTM. Launch agents that automate what slows us down.

Launch MVP for new startups alongside our partners, on the hottest topics, before there's a team. Short deadlines, fast shipping, real stakes. Probably the most exciting part of the job.

Support the Hexa tech ecosystem: our conferences with top labs, our CTO lunches with partners like Cloudflare or Vercel, and the community we're building around it.

What we're looking for

Recently graduated from a top engineering school

Deeply autonomous: you don't need hand-holding, you need a problem worth solving

Side projects that prove it. Cool ones.

AI-native: you use it in everything you touch, and it shows in what you've built in the last 6 months

TypeScript and/or Python.

Based in Paris (at least 3 days/week)

What's in it for you

Package: €72K to €85K gross/year (base salary of €60K–€71K + 20% annual profit sharing)

Opportunity to invest in Hexa portfolio startups at a (very) preferential rate

Swile meal card

8 to 12 RTT days per year

Flexible remote work policy

Mobility budget: €500/year for green transportation (bike, metro, electric scooter)

Health insurance with 50% coverage for you and your family

1% Holiday bonus

Head of Research @Verso (backed by Hexa)

The role
First growth hire. Our first marketing initiative was a press release that worked too well, triggering an 80B$ insurance market crash in the public markets. It put AI distribution and Waniwani on the agenda of every financial institution’s board and kick-started an intense growth motion. We’ve signed partnerships with the most renowned industry players and delivered several keynotes on AI distribution to Fortune 500 executives. But luck is not a playbook. As founding marketing & GTM, your role is to build Waniwani’s repeatable, scalable growth engine from scratch: events, partnerships, outbound, and content. You’ll identify which channels convert, then scale them.
What you'll do:

Build the Growth Engine: You won’t be following a playbook; you’ll be writing it. You’ll hire and lead a team across different regions to figure out how we win in each market.

Be the Face on the Ground: Find the 5% of events and dinners that actually matter. Build the relationships that turn into a multi-million dollar pipeline.

Drive the Global Narrative: Write the stuff people actually want to read. Market deep-dives, case studies, and sharp commentary that proves we are the experts.

Secure Tier-1 Partnerships: Identify the organizations that already have our customers' attention. Structure the deals and manage them until they produce revenue.

Scale through Data: If it doesn’t move the needle, kill it. Use the numbers to decide where we hire next and which markets we double down on.

You:

Startup Veteran: You’ve built revenue from scratch before, likely when the company had zero brand recognition and a tiny budget.

Sharp Writer: You can write a 3-sentence email that gets a reply from a CEO and a 1,000-word article that gets shared by industry leaders.

High EQ: You know how to work a room and how to follow up without being a nuisance.

Leader & Maker: You’re comfortable managing a team across time zones but aren't afraid to get your hands dirty and book the first 50 meetings yourself.

Creative Problem Solver: You find the "side doors" into big accounts when the front door is locked.

The press called it "the industry's ChatGPT moment." We call it Day 1.

Why This Role ExistsWe're past proof of concept. The product works. Now we need to run it for hundreds of customers simultaneously, each with their own MCP server, their own data pipelines, their own distribution dashboards, without the platform breaking a sweat. This is a systems-level engineering problem. You'll own the architecture that lets Waniwani scale from dozens of deployments to thousands. Multi-tenant infrastructure. Multi-codebase orchestration. Real-time data flowing across hundreds of interconnected services. The kind of work where one bad abstraction costs you months, and one good one buys you years. We expect 95% of your code to be written by AI. Your value isn't in typing. It's in knowing what to build, how to architect it, and when the AI got it wrong. You'll operate at the speed of someone who treats LLMs as a core part of their engineering workflow, not a novelty. The bottleneck is judgment, not keystrokes. What You'll Actually Do

Own the multi-tenant platform. Architect and maintain the infrastructure that hosts hundreds of MCP codebases. Multi-codebase deployment strategies, database partitioning, caching layers, job queues. Whatever the problem demands.

Automate everything. CI/CD pipelines, codebase provisioning, health monitoring, rollback systems. If a human has to do it twice, you build a system to do it forever.

Instrument relentlessly. Logging, tracing, alerting. When something breaks at 2am across 300 instances, the system should tell you exactly where and why, before anyone notices.

You'll work directly with the CTO. The architecture is yours to shape. The stack is TypeScript end-to-end.

This Role Is for You If

You've built and operated systems at real scale. You've been the person on-call when things break and the person who redesigns systems so they stop breaking.

You think in systems, not features. French is a plus.

Pluses

Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms (tenant isolation, provisioning, billing)

Built or operated big data pipelines (Kafka, ClickHouse, BigQuery, or similar)

Deep PostgreSQL knowledge: partitioning, query optimization, connection pooling at scale

Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)

Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or LLM tool-use ecosystems

Contributed to open-source infrastructure projects

Experience with Next.js, Drizzle ORM, or similar modern TypeScript stacks

Managed deployments across multiple cloud providers or edge networks

Built internal developer platforms or deployment automation

Why Waniwani

Ruthless execution. Execution is what differentiates average outcomes and startup failure from massive impact. [AI] CTO

Founded in 2025 by Lydia Bellahouel (CEO) Camille Epitalon (CTO),Verso is backed by Hexa (eFounders), the pioneer startup studio in Europe, having launched 35+ companies, including unicorns like Front, Aircall and Spendesk combining €230m+ ARR and €750m raised.Verso is rewriting the rules of consumer research, in a market that is being highly disrupted by AI. We need the person who defines what great looks like when AI conducts the interviews and humans ask better questions.About Verso & who we areVerso is an AI-native consumer research platform. Together, they decided to build Verso to turn consumer understanding into a real-time competitive advantage for all of their clients. Why this role existsWe have built an AI that runs qualitative interviews at scale and turns interviews into structured insights. The technology works and has beed adopted by 15+ clients. Now we need someone who pushes it further: someone who knows what a brilliant debrief feels like, what a sharp brief unlocks, and what separates a finding from a truth. You will be the research authority at Verso, the person who shapes how our clients think about their studies and how we think about our product. This is not a delivery role with a client-facing wrapper. It is a strategic position at the intersection of research craft, AI, and company building. What you will own

Research quality, end-to-end. From the first brief call to the final debrief, you set the bar. You review AI outputs with a researcher's eye, enrich findings, and ensure every report earns client trust.

Study design and scoping. You help clients turn business questions into sharp research briefs. You advise on methodology, sample, market selection, and moderation approach, including what the AI needs to do well.

Client relationships that compound. You become the person clients want on their next study before the current one is over. You build long-term partnerships with insights, marketing, and product leaders who see Verso as their go-to research engine.

Our methodology and product direction. You feed the product team with real constraints, gaps, and opportunities you observe across studies. You help define what our AI should do better, and help articulate what makes our approach genuinely different.

The standard for how we operate. You build the frameworks, templates, and quality rituals that scale as Verso grows. You are not a lone expert; you are building a function.

Who you are

5 to 10 years of qualitative research experience, whether at an agency, a consultancy, or an in-house insights team at a global brand

You have run multi-market studies and know what makes a debrief land with a CMO versus a product team

You write clearly, think structurally, and can build a narrative out of messy, contradictory data

You are genuinely curious about what AI changes for our field, not just as a tool but as a methodological shift

You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and care about the craft of research more than the comfort of process

Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a real plus given our market footprint

This role is for you if:

You care deeply about the craft of qualitative research and want to redefine it in the age of AI

You’re excited by a blank page and the idea of setting the standard, not following one

This role is not for you if:

You’re looking for a purely executional role with clear processes and limited ambiguity

What makes this role unusual

You join when the product is young enough that your instincts will shape its direction

You will work on studies that span across industries

You will sit at the table when we decide how AI-assisted qualitative research should work, not just use a tool someone else designed

You are an early member of a team building the Consumer Intelligence OS for global brands. That means real ownership, real impact, and a trajectory that grows with Verso.

Recruitment process

Intro call with Hexa's Talent team (30 minutes)

Fit call with Lydia to understand your background (30 minutes)

A real-life research scenario to assess how you structure a brief, analyze insights, and build a narrative (take-home and 45 minutes restitution with Lydia and Pierre, lead PM )

Deep-dive interview with Lydia and Camille to go deeper on your experience, thinking, and how you’d shape the role (45 minutes)

Verso is committed to creating a diverse environment.
