Assistant Human Resources Officer

Newmarket is a subsidiary of Henderson Land Development Company Limited, a leading property development group in Hong Kong. It is engaged in the Citistore, APITA and UNY department store operations in Hong Kong.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-minded junior HR Generalist to join our team. The role will be responsible for providing end-to-end support in frontline recruitment and daily C&B operations.

Job Descriptions

• Provide end-to-end support for the frontline recruitment process, including job posting, interview arrangements and onboarding coordination.
• Prepare headcount and recruitment-related reports.
• Support daily C&B operations, such as monthly payroll calculation, leave management and offboarding formalities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the HR system.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources Management or related disciplines

• 1 year or above of relevant HR experience in a sizable retail organization is preferred

• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of HR Assistant

• Proactive and detail-minded

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and data analysis

• Well-versed in HK Employment Ordinances

• Good comment of written and spoken English and Chinese

• Immediate availability is preferred.
