HR Executive

About the role

The HR Operations Executive (Generalist) supports day-to-day HR functions across retail stores and corporate offices. This role ensures smooth execution of employee lifecycle processes, supports payroll and compliance activities, and provides timely HR assistance to store teams. The position requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage frontline workforce operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment coordination (job postings, interview scheduling, offer documentation)
• Facilitate onboarding and induction for new store employees
• Maintain employee records and personal files
• Track attendance, leave, and shift schedules
• Assist in performance management documentation
• Address basic employee queries and escalate complex issues
• Assist in payroll data preparation (attendance inputs, overtime, incentives)
• Verify employee compensation details before payroll processing
• Maintain compliance documentation and employee files
• Support exit formalities (clearance, documentation, F&F coordination)

Qualification :

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience (Retail HR experience preferred)
• Understanding of HR policies and SOPs
• Basic understanding of salary structure and OT calculations
• Entry-level candidates must have theoretical knowledge of basic Employment Act 1955
• Basic knowledge of labor laws and payroll processes
• Familiarity with MS Excel and HR2000 systems
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving attitude
