IT Support Specialis

Role Description This part-time IT Support Specialist role at مكتب الريان للاستشارات الهندسية is a hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with some flexibility to work from home. The IT Support Specialist will provide day-to-day technical assistance to internal users, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on desktop computers and related devices. Responsibilities include responding to help desk requests, prioritizing support tickets, and ensuring timely resolution of IT incidents. The role also involves setting up and configuring workstations, performing routine maintenance, and supporting basic network connectivity and access to company systems. The IT Support Specialist will document issues and solutions, escalate complex problems when necessary, and contribute to improving IT support processes and user experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide effective Technical Support and Help Desk Support for internal users.
• Strong Troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and basic network issues.
• Hands-on experience with Desktop Computers, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• Foundational knowledge of Information Technology concepts, systems, and security best practices.
• Relevant diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to supporting diverse users.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple support requests, and meet agreed timeframes.
• Experience in hybrid work environments and familiarity with remote support tools is an advantage.
