Role overview:

• Understand business requirements and functional specifications to create test plans and detailed test cases.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Software Engineering teams to define testing objectives and scope.
• Validate data integrity, completeness, accuracy, and consistency across different stages of the data pipeline.
• Identify, document, track, and verify bugs and discrepancies to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain and upgrade existing Python scripts related to test cases.
• Automate test cases using Postman and other relevant testing tools.
• Contribute to improving testing processes, practices, and overall quality.

Desired skills:

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in manual testing or software testing.
• Strong understanding of test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Understanding of data pipelines and data validation.
• Basic knowledge of Python and experience with Postman.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive approach to identifying issues and improving testing practices.
