We are looking for a Security Operations Specialist - Privileged Access Management in the IT

Responsibilities Privileged Access Management (PAM) & Identity and Access Management (IAM):

Administer and maintain our PAM solution(s), including user provisioning/de-provisioning, policy management, session monitoring, and reporting.

Contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of PAM policies and workflows to enhance security and operational efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PAM and IAM systems and access requests.

Develop and maintain documentation related to PAM processes and procedures.

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate PAM and IAM solutions with existing systems and applications.

Participate in regular security assessments and audits related to PAM and IAM.

Operations (SecOps) Generalist Participate in the security incident response process, including identification, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery of security incidents.

Investigation of security alerts and events, escalating as necessary.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of security incident response plans and procedures.

Manage and process security approval requests for various IT changes and access modifications, ensuring adherence to security policies.

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.

Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.

Participate in vulnerability management activities, including scanning and remediation efforts.

On-Call Duties Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for critical security incidents and system issues outside of regular business hours. This includes responding to alerts, troubleshooting problems, and escalating as needed.

PAM related critical operational incidents are also relevant for on-call duty.

Qualifications Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in a security-related role with exposure to PAM and/or IAM principles and technologies.

Familiarity with at least one enterprise-level PAM solution (e.g., Delina (Thycotic), CyberArk, BeyondTrust, OneIdentity, Wallix).

Familiarity with IAM Tools (OneIdentity and/or PING)

Understanding of PAM & optional IAM concepts, including user lifecycle management, authentication, and authorization.

Experience participating in security incident response activities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent troubleshooting skills in Windows and Linux environments. Previous System Administrator experience is considered a plus.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Fluency in English is required. German language skills are a plus.

Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

Familiarity with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
