About the Role :

The Interior Design Faculty will be responsible for delivering studio-based teaching and practical training in Interior Design, covering design, spatial planning, technical documentation, materials, visualization, and professional practice. The role involves guiding students through design projects, working drawings, software-based visualization, portfolio development, and industry-oriented projects, while contributing to juries, workshops, and academic activities.

Areas of Expertise:

• Interior Design & Spatial Planning
• Interior Construction & Technical Documentation including Working Drawings
• Materials, Finishes & Applications
• Furniture, Lighting, Sustainability
• Interior Styling & Experience Design
• Professional Practice & Project Management – Estimation, Costing, BOQ, Specifications, Client & Site Coordination and Professional Practice
• Design Thinking, Research & Portfolio Development
• Digital Design, Visualization & Emerging Technologies

SOFTWARE EXPERTISE

Proficiency in relevant design and visualization software such as:

AutoCAD | SketchUp | Revit | 3ds Max | V-Ray | Enscape | D5 Render | Lumion | Photoshop | Illustrator | InDesign

Knowledge of AI-assisted design, visualization and creative workflows will be an added advantage.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Essential:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Design or a related discipline
• Strong expertise in one or more Interior Design subject areas
• Good communication and presentation skills

Preferred:

• Master's qualification in a relevant discipline
• Prior teaching / academic experience
• Professional experience

Interior Design / Architecture / Design practice

• Experience in studio-based teaching, juries, workshops or industry projects
• Strong professional / academic portfolio
