Blue Yonder / JDA Implementation Specialist

HCLTech are currently hiring for a Blue Yonder / JDA Implementation Specialist

We are looking for an IT professional to support the implementation and ongoing delivery of Blue Yonder (JDA) solutions.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, customers, and suppliers to understand business requirements, support solution configuration, coordinate testing and data activities, and help ensure successful deployment and transition into operational use.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys combining business analysis, system implementation, testing, stakeholder engagement, and problem solving within a supply chain technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and deployment of Blue Yonder / JDA solutions, from requirements gathering through to go-live and operational handover.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand existing processes, identify requirements, and translate these into clear functional and system requirements.
• Support the preparation of business requirements, functional specifications, system documentation, and configuration requirements.
• Assist with Blue Yonder/JDA system configuration and solution setup in line with agreed business requirements.
• Coordinate data collection, validation, cleansing, and preparation required for solution implementation.
• Plan and support testing activities across TAT, SIT and UAT, ensuring solutions meet agreed functional and business requirements.
• Execute and document system, integration, volume, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, track, and support the resolution of system defects and implementation issues.
• Support business users throughout UAT, providing guidance and coordinating issue resolution with technical and project teams.
• Contribute to implementation planning, cutover activities, go-live support, and post-implementation stabilisation.
• Identify and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies, working with the wider project team to support appropriate mitigation plans.
• Develop user documentation and training materials and deliver or support training for business users.
• Provide operational support following implementation and help ensure an effective transition into business-as-usual support.
• Build effective working relationships with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including requirements, test results, defects, risks, issues, and implementation updates.

Required Skills

• Understanding of Blue Yonder / JDA solutions or experience working with comparable supply chain or enterprise applications.
• Business analysis and requirements-gathering skills.
• Experience or understanding of software implementation and system configuration.
• Knowledge of system testing, System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to document business requirements, processes, defects, and technical or functional issues clearly.
• Good organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities.
• Understanding of project risk, issue, and change management.
• Strong customer and service orientation.

Experience & Qualifications

• Relevant IT, systems implementation, business analysis, application support, or supply chain technology experience.
• Previous exposure to Blue Yonder/JDA would be highly advantageous.
• Exposure to supply chain, logistics, warehouse management, transportation, demand planning, or related business processes would be beneficial.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• ACT Workshop completion is mandatory.

You will be able to understand business needs, support Blue Yonder/JDA implementation activities, coordinate testing and data preparation, and work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Success in the role will come from strong attention to detail, structured problem solving, clear communication, and the ability to take ownership of activities through to successful deployment and operational handover.
