ESL Instructors Needed - Times Square

We are an established language school in Midtown Manhattan. All students are adult learners. We are currently accepting resumes of English-language teachers to teach English as a second language.

Courses: ESL, TOEFL, IELTS, Academic Writing, Business English, Conversation & American Culture, Reading, Public Speaking, Pronunciation, etc. Class schedules are: Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, and Weekends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Degree in TESOL, TESL, Applied Linguistics, English, Education, or related field are preferred
• If the applicant’s degree is not in an ESL teaching-related field, an ESL teaching certificate is required (TESOL/TESL/TEFL/CELTA, etc.)
• Prior experience in ESL teaching is preferred
• Experience teaching adult learners preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Teach ESL courses for adult learners in an engaging and supportive environment
• Provide constructive feedback on student assignments and monitor student progress
• Maintain accurate attendance and academic records
• Foster a positive and professional classroom environment
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to support student success
