Job Summary

JD Institute of Fashion Technology is seeking a passionate and experienced Fashion Trainer to train and mentor students in various areas of fashion design. The candidate will be responsible for delivering practical and theoretical sessions, guiding students in creative projects, and supporting their overall academic and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging theoretical and practical lectures in Fashion Design.
• Train students in areas such as Fashion Illustration, Garment Construction, Pattern Making, Textile Studies, Styling, Draping, and Fashion Trends.
• Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and practical activities.
• Guide students in developing portfolios, design collections, and academic projects.
• Conduct workshops, demonstrations, and creative learning activities.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain student attendance, academic records, and assessment reports.
• Stay updated with the latest fashion trends, techniques, and industry practices.
• Support students in fashion shows, exhibitions, competitions, and other institute activities.
• Coordinate with the academic team and management for smooth execution of the curriculum.

Required Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Previous teaching, training, or industry experience in Fashion Design will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fashion design concepts and practical techniques.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to mentor, motivate, and manage students.
• Knowledge of relevant fashion design software will be an added advantage.
