Guided by the values of care, camaraderie, advocacy and commemoration, our mission is to help veterans and their families thrive in the community. We also lead major commemorative events such as Anzac Day and Remembrance Day.

With more than 63,000 serving and ex‑serving personnel in Western Australia, RSL WA plays a vital role in honouring service, educating the community, and helping veterans realise their potential to contribute to the WA community.

  • Support initiatives that promote membership growth, retention and engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with members, veterans, volunteers and key stakeholders.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Marketing and Events team.
  • Manage budgets, suppliers and external service providers.
  • Monitor and report on campaign, engagement and event outcomes

About You

You are an experienced marketing and communications professional who enjoys turning ideas into action and leading initiatives that create meaningful community impact.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Experience in a marketing, communications, events or engagement leadership role.
  • Experience developing and delivering strategic marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Proven success planning and delivering events, campaigns and engagement activities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong project management and organisational capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and sound budget management skills.
  • A creative, innovative and solutions-focused approach.
  • A genuine commitment to supporting veterans and their families

You will also have, or be willing to obtain:

  • A National Police Clearance

Why join RSL WA?
