Odoo Techno Functional Consultant

Role Summary

We are looking for an Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant who combines hands-on Odoo development skills with a solid understanding of business processes. You will turn business requirements into configured and customized Odoo solutions. You will also support integrations, upgrades and users after go-live. Similar UAE postings stress both functional configuration and Python-based development, and some add UAE e-invoicing readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements, run gap analysis, and map business processes to Odoo functionality.
• Configure and customize Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, HR and Manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain custom Odoo modules and workflows using Python, XML and PostgreSQL.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems, APIs and business applications.
• Support UAE VAT compliance and e-invoicing requirements.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, user manuals and technical documentation.
• Plan and run functional testing and UAT before deployment.
• Train end users and provide ongoing functional and technical support.
• Manage access rights, users and workflows on the live system.
• Support upgrades, enhancements and data migration.
• Work with business teams, developers and vendors, and report project status to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Odoo implementation and techno-functional roles.
• Strong Python and PostgreSQL skills, and experience with a recent Odoo version (v16/18+).
• Good knowledge of finance, procurement, inventory and supply chain processes.
• Experience with ERP implementation methodologies and business process mapping.
• Experience with REST APIs and integrations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Odoo certification.
• Experience with UAE VAT and e-invoicing.
• Knowledge of Odoo Studio, JavaScript/OWL, and QWeb reports.
• Full-cycle ERP implementation experience.
• Experience with HR, payroll or facilities management workflows (relevant to our business).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
