Role: Principal Architect

Location: Remote

Experience: 15+ Years

Work Authorization: USC Only

Employment: W2 Only

ROLE FOCUS

This is an Infrastructure Architect-first role. Cloud experience is important, but candidates must demonstrate strong, current on-premises and hybrid infrastructure architecture experience .

NASCO is currently 90 95% on-premises , so candidates heavily focused only on AWS/cloud architecture will not be a strong fit.

Required Experience

• Broad Infrastructure Architecture across:

• Compute

• Storage

• Virtualization

• Connectivity / Networking

• VDI

• Resilience / Disaster Recovery

• Observability / Instrumentation

• Strong experience with modern on-premises and hybrid infrastructure

• Cloud architecture experience as part of a broader infrastructure strategy

• Experience supporting complex infrastructure migrations

• Ability to develop infrastructure roadmaps

• Practical modernization strategies for large enterprise environments

• Strong technical leadership and ability to influence:

• Internal engineering teams

• Service providers

• Senior leadership

• Hands-on technical depth with specific examples of architecture decisions, implementation, troubleshooting, and measurable outcomes

15+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED US CITIZEN ONLY W2 ONLY REMOTE INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECTURE NOT CLOUD-ONLY STRONG CURRENT ON-PREMISES + HYBRID EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Complex Infrastructure Migration Experience Required COMPUTE / STORAGE / VIRTUALIZATION / VDI / CONNECTIVITY / RESILIENCE / OBSERVABILITY Candidates should be able to provide specific technical examples , not only high-level architecture discussions

Strong STAR-based behavioral and situational interview communication expected
