Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

ROLE

-Establishing and maintaining supplier development activities

-Conducting process audits at suppliers in accordance with VDA 6.3

-Qualifying and developing existing and potential suppliers

-Ensuring supplier process and measurement capability and implementing uniform quality standards and processes

-Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance

-Ensuring compliance with budget and target requirements

-Frequent and flexible travel to supplier locations

-Ensuring compliance with company and purchasing processes

-Managing project and coordination tasks within the purchasing department

REQUIRED CAPABILITIES

-Qualification as a Quality Engineer

-Certification as a VDA 6.3 Process Auditor

-Several years of professional experience in supplier development and supplier quality

-Sound knowledge of relevant production processes and associated costs

-Experience with ERP systems

-Knowledge of common automotive quality standards, particularly IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3

-Knowledge of contract law and contract drafting

-Strong knowledge of automotive core tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and 8D

-Experience in planning and conducting supplier audits

-Very good written and spoken English

-Good MS Office skills, particularly Excel

-High willingness to travel
