Senior Architectural Coordinator / Architectural Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with structural and M&E disciplines to resolve technical issues in construction drawings
• Review all architectural drawings and prepare Requests for Information (RFI) for discrepancies
• Coordinate and submit all materials required for project to consultants for approval
• Collaborate with VDC/BIM team to resolve architectural setting out issues
• Prepare and submit work method statements for approval
• Coordinate with subcontractors to conduct trade demonstrations before work commencement
• Ensure all work has proper inspection records maintained by RTO
• Manage registration and distribution of architectural construction drawings and revisions
• Conduct site inspections to verify construction progress against approved drawings and specifications
• Ensure that work completed meet quality standards and complies with regulatory requirements and achieve CONQUAS score required for project
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of local experience in architectural coordination
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for architectural drawing review and coordination Basic knowledge of BIM software such as Revit to support coordination with VDC/BIM team
• Ability to work independently to manage coordination and quality control tasks and work well as a team
