Your Task

We are looking for an experienced Software Solution Designer to join our international team and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of a strategically important system within the Deutsche Telekom Group. The project supports the planning, construction, inventory, configuration, operation, and optimization of mobile radio networks. Its applications and services provide a consistent data foundation for internal systems and support collaboration with external partners across the mobile network lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs and customer requirements into effective, scalable IT solutions
• Analyze and refine requirements, user stories, business processes, and functional specifications
• Design end-to-end solutions for mobile radio network infrastructure across applications, services, APIs, and system interfaces
• Decompose complex requirements into clear, development-ready solution components
• Create and maintain solution designs, process models, interface specifications, and system documentation
• Identify involved systems, interface partners, dependencies, and integration impacts
• Define and assess relevant non-functional requirements, including performance, security, availability, and maintainability
• Design and validate REST API interactions, data flows, and mappings
• Analyze existing mobile radio network systems and identify opportunities for improvement and simplification
• Evaluate solution alternatives and communicate recommendations to business and technical stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, business analysts, developers, architects, DevOps teams, and system engineers
• Support implementation, testing, rollout, and continuous improvement of the solution
• Contribute to a clear, consistent, and maintainable system landscape
• Document and communicate solution principles, guidelines, and design decisions

Your Profile

We are seeking an experienced Software Solution Designer with extensive experience in solution design and software architecture within complex IT environments, strong understanding of microservice architectures and API-driven integration, and excellent communication and analytical skills to contribute to mobile radio network infrastructure systems.

Must Have Skills

• At least five years of experience in solution design, software architecture, business analysis, or a related role within complex IT environments
• Experience designing business applications and end-to-end IT solutions across multiple systems
• Understanding of microservice-based architectures, distributed systems, and API-driven integration
• Ability to analyze system dependencies, integration patterns, business processes, and technical constraints
• Ability to create clear models and diagrams using UML and BPMN, including process, activity, sequence, and use-case diagrams
• Experience defining functional and non-functional requirements and turning them into implementable solutions
• Familiarity with REST APIs and tools such as Swagger or Postman
• Experience working with Agile methods, such as Scrum, in cross-functional teams
• Confident communicating in written and spoken English at least at B2 level
• Solution design and architecture skills

• Project management skills

• Knowledge of mobile telecommunications or mobile radio network infrastructure
• Experience contributing to IT guidelines, solution blueprints, or architecture documentation
• Experience supporting testing, implementation, and rollout activities

Salary: Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than €2,500 gross.

Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Slovakia due to European taxation regulation.
