About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architecture and design of a next-generation Telecom CRM platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing highly scalable, high-throughput, cloud-native microservices capable of handling large transaction volumes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the overall architecture for a large-scale Telecom CRM platform.
• Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and horizontally scalable microservices.
• Build systems capable of handling high TPS (Transactions Per Second) and high-volume workloads with low latency.
• Design event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka for asynchronous communication.
• Establish API standards aligned with TM Forum Open APIs.
• Define database architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization strategies using MySQL.
• Drive cloud-native architecture and deployment strategies on Kubernetes.
• Define security, observability, logging, monitoring, and resiliency standards.
• Review solution designs and provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to define integration patterns for React-based Micro Frontends.
• Lead architecture reviews, proof of concepts, and technology evaluations.
• Mentor senior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, maintainability, and security requirements.

Required Technical Skills

Backend

• Expert in Java (11/17+) and Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture
• REST API design and API-first development
• TM Forum Open APIs (TMF Open APIs)
• Experience building distributed systems

Messaging & Integration

• Apache Kafka
• Event-Driven Architecture
• Asynchronous messaging patterns
• Event Sourcing and CQRS (preferred)

Database

• MySQL performance tuning
• Database design and normalization
• Indexing, partitioning, replication, and high availability

Cloud & DevOps

• Kubernetes
• Docker
• CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud-native application architecture

Frontend

• Understanding of React
• Experience with Micro Frontend architecture
• API integration patterns

Architecture

• High TPS and high-throughput system design
• Distributed systems architecture
• Scalability and performance optimization
• Caching strategies
• Resilience patterns (Circuit Breaker, Retry, Bulkhead)
• Load balancing
• API Gateway patterns
• Service discovery
• Distributed tracing and observability

Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years in an Architecture role.
• Telecom/BSS/OSS domain experience.
• Experience implementing TM Forum Open APIs.
• Experience running Kubernetes in production environments.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
• Familiarity with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and IAM solutions such as Keycloak.
• Experience with performance testing and capacity planning.
