*Job Title:* Transformer Design Engineer
*Role Summary:*
Responsible for complete electrical and mechanical design of Power / Distribution Transformers.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Electrical Design:* Calculation of core, winding, losses, impedance, temperature rise, insulation coordination, short-circuit withstand.
*Mechanical Design:* Tank, clamping structure, core frame, lead arrangement, GA drawings.
*Software:* Use of design software - ETAP, AutoCAD, SolidWorks / Inventor, Ansys Maxwell, Excel design sheets.
*Standards:* Design as per IS, IEC, IEEE, ANSI standards. Knowledge of IS 2026, IEC 60076.
*Testing:* Review of Type Test, Routine Test results. Support during testing and failure analysis.
*Documentation:* Prepare BOM, Technical Specification, QAP, Datasheets, Customer approval documents.
*Coordination:* Work with Production, Quality, Sales & Marketing for cost optimization and customer queries.
*Types:* Experience in Oil Filled, Dry Type, Power up to 50MVA / 132kV class preferred.
Pay: ₹11,408.18 - ₹45,801.45 per month
