• We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VDI System Administrator to join our IT team
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) system
• This role requires expertise in VDI technologies, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure the optimal performance and security of our virtualized desktop environment

Responsibilities:

• VDI Design and Implementation:Design, deploy, and maintain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solutions based on business requirements
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate VDI into the overall IT architecture
• System Administration:Perform day-to-day administration and maintenance tasks for the VDI environment
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
• User Support:Provide technical support to end-users utilizing VDI technologies
• Address user issues related to virtual desktops, applications, and performance
• Security and Compliance:Implement and maintain security measures to protect VDI infrastructure and data
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies
• Upgrades and Patch Management:Plan and execute upgrades to VDI software and hardware components
• Manage patching and updates to ensure system reliability and security
• Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for VDI configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines
• Provide training to other IT staff and end-users as needed
