Application for a JSMC/Microverse position Deadline for applications is 2026-08-19 Welcome to the Online Application Portal of the JSMC and the Microverse Cluster The application process will approx. take 10 min, provided you have all the necessary information and documents ready:

• Cover letter / Letter of motivation
• Curriculum Vitae
• Publication List (required for PostDoc applications, optional for Doctoral Candidate apllications)
• Scans of certificates and Diplomas

each item in one document. If you are unsure about certain documents, please read the descriptions under “Document Upload".

You will be asked to upload digital copies of all documents requested. All files should be provided as PDFs, with a maximum file size of 5 MB each. If any document is not issued either in English or German, a certified translation is needed. In case of a certified copy, please also upload the original as well. All fields and uploads marked with an asterisk (*) are mandetory and require tobe filled in order to nish your application.

During the application process, you will be asked to select the project you are applying for. A description of the available projects together with the respective project number can be found at

• You can navigate back and forth in the system to edit and change previously entered data. You may pause your registration at any time for a maximum of 25 days and continue when you're ready.

Please note that we usually receive high numbers of applications. As we want to give every candidate a fair chance, and we are treating and considering every application individually, the application process may take a while. We kindly ask for your patience during the evaluation process. You will be notified about the decision on your application as soon as possible.
