Accountant

Experience: 6–10 Years in a trading, distribution, or FMCG company

Location: Arlem, Margao, Goa.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to handle day to day accounting and finance function. The candidate must be proficient in:

1. Managing day to day accounting transactions (Sales, Purchase, Cash, Bank) in Tally Prime /SAP.

2. Preparing weekly / monthly MIS reports on accounts receivable (Sundry debtors list, stock level & ageing statement of Debtors) & follow up for payments.

3. Manage Accounts Payable (vendor payments) to maintain cash flow.

4. Monthly reconciliation of Creditors / Dealers Accounts / Internal entries between the companies.

5. Perform daily/monthly stock reconciliations between physical inventory and system records.

6. Manage GST Compliance GSTR-1, GSTR-2B/3B filing, and reconciliation (GSTR-2B/3B).

7. Manage TDS ensure timely deduction, payment, return filing and follow up for refund including PF & ESIC compliances.

8. Prepare and finalize monthly and annual accounts (Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet).

9. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including depreciation entries, prepaid expenses, and accruals.

10. Handle ledger scrutiny and correct journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.

11. Coordinate with dealers and TOD of dealers.

• Education: CA / Inter CA / M.Com / MBA(Accounting/Finance).
