What they need
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct yarn, fabric, fibre and finished textile tests as assigned
- Test tensile strength, GSM, yarn count and dimensional stability as applicable
- Complete testing within the specified turnaround time
- Perform tests according to the relevant ISO, AATCC, ASTM, BIS or customer-specific methods
- Record test observations and prepare accurate laboratory reports (internal / external)Guide and coordinate the internal lab technicians across all Softlines units
- Liaise with third-party testing labs
REQUIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of textile testing methods
- Instrument handling
- Test method and SOP compliance
- Analytical thinking
- Third-party testing lab liaison
