AutoCAD Draftsman - Switchgear

We are looking for an AutoCAD Draftsman – Switchgear for our Switchgear Manufacturing Unit at Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi.
Department: Design & Engineering
Experience: 2–5 Years
Qualification: DAE Electrical or equivalent

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare GA, fabrication, assembly, and detailed manufacturing drawings for LV/MV switchgear and electrical panels.
* Develop panel layouts, enclosure details, busbar arrangements, and component layouts using AutoCAD.
* Read and interpret SLDs, schematics, and engineering specifications.
* Modify drawings based on engineering changes and customer requirements.
* Coordinate with Design, Production, and Engineering teams.
* Ensure accuracy, proper dimensions, revisions, and timely completion of drawings.
* Maintain drawing records and revision control.

Required Skills
* Strong command of AutoCAD 2D.
* Knowledge of LV/MV switchgear and electrical panels.
* Ability to read electrical drawings and technical specifications.
* Knowledge of sheet-metal fabrication and panel manufacturing.
* Good attention to detail, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with SolidWorks/EPLAN will be an advantage.
