Clinical Informatics Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst to bridge clinical operations and technology by optimizing EHR systems, improving clinical workflows, supporting healthcare data initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on clinical systems/EHR experience. (must have)
• Experience with Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, MEDITECH, or similar platforms. (must have)
• Strong clinical workflow analysis and optimization skills. (must have)
• Clinical knowledge in nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, provider operations, acute care, hospice, or related areas. (must have)
• EHR configuration/build and Clinical Decision Support experience.
• Clinical data analysis and reporting experience.
• Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools preferred.
• Knowledge of HL7/FHIR standards.
• Experience with testing, implementation, go-live support, and healthcare IT projects.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, HEDIS, CQMs, or Promoting Interoperability preferred.
• Familiarity with SNOMED CT, LOINC, or RxNorm is a plus.

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

Ideal Candidate

A strong combination of clinical knowledge, EHR expertise, analytical skills, and healthcare IT experience, with the ability to work effectively with clinical, technical, and administrative teams.

Important: This is a hybrid position requiring the selected candidate to work onsite in Cranston, Rhode Island two (2) days per week. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the location.

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
