Key responsibilities

    • Handle DOE declarations (ESWIS), KASTAM filings, and maintain traceable records.
    • Conduct storage inspections, correct non-conformities, and analyze generation data to support reduction and reporting.
    • Manage team assignments, performance, safety, and disposal cost control (invoices, payments).

    KASTAM & Regulatory Compliance

    • Prepare and submit GPB AM, K9, and renewals; archive all statutory documents.
    • Liaise with authorities/contractors; support audits, inspections, and CAPA follow‑up.

    Emergency Response & Drills

    • Investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive CAPA to closure for risk reduction.

About you

  • Hold a valid CePSWaM certification and possess thorough knowledge of Malaysia's Environmental Quality Act 1974, the Scheduled Wastes Regulations 2005, and relevant DOE and KASTAM (LMW bonded warehouse) requirements.
  • Able to independently manage the entire waste lifecycle – identification, classification, laboratory testing, labelling, packaging, storage, inventory control, transportation, ESWIS declarations, and compliant disposal – and maintain the company‑wide waste inventory.
  • Proficient in DOE ESWIS system operations, Scheduled Waste consignment procedures, and KASTAM documentation (GPB AM, K9 Forms) to ensure full regulatory compliance for disposal and bonded‑warehouse submissions.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis, report writing, and presentation preparation, with strong documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities, and effective written/oral communication in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
