EHS Officer

JOB PURPOSE:

This position is in charge of assisting in developing, planning, coordinating and directing environmental and health/safety activities to ensure employee engagement, regulatory compliance and implement the EHS management system to protect human health and the environment.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for ensuring that the company is in compliance and adheres Health and safety guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Acting EHS Manager when EHS Manager is not present, to support EHS Manager in implementing safety rules and regulations. Enforcing and developing EHS policies and procedures and submitting regulatory reports.

2. To submit DOLE mandated report via DOLE portal and hand overing hard copies to DOLE for proper documentation and records. Listed below the reportorial to DOLE.

· WAIR – Work accident/Illness Report (with or without accident)

· AEDR – Annual Exposure Data Report

· RSO – Report of Safety Organization to submit Monthly (with or without changes)

· MOM – Minutes of Meeting of Safety Organization submit Monthly.

· AMR – Annual Medical Report

3. Responsible for updating Safety Performance Record (SPR), that include monitoring

of Safety Officer Observation reports, consolidating reports to collect SO reports of

unsafe act, unsafe condition, near misses, incidents and accidents.

4. To update regularly the PPE monitoring record, and communicate to all safety Officers the validity of PPEs receives and issuances.

5. Responsible for EHS ISO documentation, filling and record keeping of all EHS files generated.

6. Responsible for reviewing all Safety Officer report particularly in Accident, Incident Investigation report before submitting it to EHS Manager then to the President.

7. Conduct site Safety Audits, Site Safety Inspections, conduct risk assessment and analyze root causes and implement preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.

8. Ensure safety signages, posters, memos and other related safety awareness and concerns are placed on EHS bulletins.

9. Other EHSS related tasks that may be assigned by the Head.

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Safety Officer: 3 years (Preferred)
• Construction: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• COSH Certificate (Preferred)
