EHS Professional

• Coordinate and continuously improve Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities to ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies, promote a safe working environment, and support business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external service providers, and regulatory authorities to implement effective EHS processes and initiatives.
• Coordinate EHS activities and ensure compliance with applicable legislation, internal policies, and safety standards.
• Maintain EHS documentation, legal registers, safety agreements, and reporting in internal systems.
• Liaise with external EHS service providers and regulatory authorities.
• Support EHS audits, management reviews, internal controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate risk assessments, individual risk documentation, emergency plans, and mandatory medical examinations.
• Organize, deliver, and track mandatory EHS and H&S training, including additional training following incidents or regulatory changes.
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Oversee the procurement, distribution, and inventory of work equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
• Ensure environmental compliance and reporting, including waste and packaging management.
• Support workplace safety, employee wellbeing initiatives, and the maintenance of safe site conditions.
• Coordinate CSSM committee activities, meetings, and related documentation.

Work Experience

• Strong knowledge of Romanian EHS legislation (SSM, SU, AFM, waste, EEE, packaging, batteries).
• Experience working with external EHS providers and authorities (ITM, AFM, environmental agencies).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and regions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with EHS platforms (e.g., Cority) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Very good English skills (spoken and written) — essential for communication with global teams.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, online platforms, reporting tools, documentation systems).
