EHSS MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

The EHSS Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing environmental, health, safety, and security programs within the property. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, promotes a safe and secure environment for tenants and employees, and supports day-to-day operational safety practices. This position is primarily execution- and compliance-focused, with responsibility for site-level EHSS initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and monitor EHSS policies, programs, and procedures across the property
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards, Fire Code, DENR regulations)
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification activities
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and EHSS training for employees, contractors, and tenants as needed
• Coordinate with government agencies and ensure timely submission of required reports and permits
• Monitor and enforce contractor compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Oversee emergency preparedness programs (e.g., fire drills, evacuation plans, incident response)
• Ensure proper maintenance and availability of safety equipment and facilities
• Collaborate with property management, engineering, and security teams to address EHSS concerns
• Promote a culture of safety, security, and environmental responsibility within the property

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or any related field
• With at least 2–4 years of relevant experience in EHSS, safety, or facilities/property management
• Preferably with BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) certification or equivalent
• Knowledgeable in Philippine EHSS regulations (DOLE OSH, DENR, Fire Code, etc.)
• Experience in conducting safety inspections, incident investigations, and compliance monitoring
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and report-writing skills
• Able to work independently and handle multiple site-related concerns

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
