Environment Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining EHS management system documents, developing and revising relevant SOPs, and managing departmental documents and records.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with department heads and management personnel to ensure the effective operation of the EHS management system.
• Responsible for formulating environmental management plans, programs, and corrective measures, and supervising and tracking their implementation.
• Responsible for investigating and analyzing basic environmental data, and supervising, managing, and inspecting waste gas, wastewater, and solid waste treatment facilities.
• Organize the identification, investigation, assessment, and monitoring of environmental hazard factors, conduct environmental risk assessments, and research and propose control measures.
• Responsible for the implementation and supervision of the “Three Simultaneities” (design, construction, and
  commissioning of environmental protection facilities simultaneously with the main project) for new, renovation, and expansion projects.
• Responsible for supervising the implementation of environmental protection archives,
  ledgers, and records.
• Responsible for the classification, standardized disposal, ledger management, and tracking of hazardous waste transfer manifests.
• Responsible for managing environmental government affairs, including environmental reports, pollutant discharge permits, and sewage fee payments.
• Responsible for formulating the annual environmental monitoring plan, tracking its implementation, and analyzing environmental reports.
• Participate in energy and resource management, as well as energy conservation and emission reduction initiatives.
• Assist in various customer audits and achieve the annual EHS targets assigned by the department.
• Participate in receiving inspections from relevant government departments and maintain relationships with them.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, pollution control, waste management and environmental monitoring.
• Good understanding of environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements and compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and project management skills.
• Relevant professional certifications or engineering registration are an added advantage
