Growth Advisor
We’re looking for a Growth Advisor to work with CEOs and leadership teams at companies doing $50M to $500M+ in revenue. You’ll need senior executive experience, strong facilitation skills, and deep strategic planning expertise. You’ll lead annual and quarterly planning, coach executives, and stay with ambitious companies as they grow over the long term.
Growth Advisor
A Growth Advisor at Lawrence & Co. works side by side with ambitious CEOs and their leadership teams. Together they build companies that grow reliably, quarter after quarter and decade after decade. You’ll do some of the most meaningful work of your career with founders who are serious about scaling. The role needs executive credibility, sharp facilitation skills, and a coach’s instinct to ask questions before giving answers.
The Role As a Growth Advisor, you’ll lead strategic planning with executive teams at companies doing $50M to $500M+ in revenue. You’ll facilitate annual and quarterly planning sessions, onsite and virtual. In those sessions, teams clarify their vision, sharpen their strategy, and build their One-Page Strategic Plan. Between sessions, you’ll hold teams accountable to their goals and metrics, review their numbers with them, and push back on their thinking when it counts. You’ll also coach CEOs and senior leaders as they step into bigger roles in a bigger company. Our client relationships average five-plus years, so you’ll stay with each team for the long haul and adjust strategy based on real results. You’ll also help grow the firm through your network and by supporting new client relationships.

Who We’re Looking For Seasoned Executive: You have 10+ years in senior leadership, including at least 3 as a CEO or executive in a high-growth entrepreneurial company. You’re comfortable in the boardroom of a $50M to $500M company. Private equity experience is a plus.
Expert Facilitator: You’ve led strategic planning sessions, leadership programs, and offsites for executive teams. You know how to run a room, keep it engaged, and leave it with clear commitments.
Strategic Planning Practitioner: You’ve owned strategic planning using Scaling Up, EOS, or a similar method, either in your own company or as a coach. You know Jim Collins’ work well.
Coach at Heart: You have CTI or equivalent coach training, or a leadership style that translates naturally to coaching. You ask lots of questions and help teams find their own answers. You’re not a bulldozer.
Financially Fluent: You can read a P&L, spot what doesn’t add up, and turn the numbers into conversations that lead to better decisions.
High-EQ Communicator: You build trust at every level of an organization and make complex ideas simple, clear, and compelling.
Well-Connected: Ideally, you’re a member of or connected to EO, YPO, or similar CEO groups. You have a strong network and you’re comfortable doing some business development.
Values Aligned: You’d be right at home with our values: Better Next Time, Tell It Like It Is, More Than You Say, Start With Respect, and Fun Too.
