HVAC Technician

A/C maintenance

• Perform periodic preventive maintenance schedule of HVAC unit.
• Routine inspection and repair of HVAC system
• Daily recording of chiller status.
• Ensure that all operation and maintenance activities are properly recorded and documented.
• Response to emergency and breakdowns.
• Execute the work order issued by superiors with specified standards.
• Ensure all portable equipment are in correct order and use safely.
• Perform daily inspection checklist.
• Assist to perform the plumbing, electrical, mechanical and others when and where required.
• Advises Facilities supervisor concerning major repairs / changes required.
• Monitor the performance and adjust HVAC equipment to obtain maximum efficiency.
• Conduct trouble shoot/diagnose and repair faulty operations of HVAC units such as:

− Chiller’s mechanical and electrical systems.

− Air handling units

− Fresh air & exhaust fan units

− A/C split & package type unit

− A/C window type unit

− Heat & cool pumps

• Check regularly electrical and mechanical safety and operation components of the above listed units. Conduct setting adjustment and calibration of the following:

− Temperature controller

− Overload relay and time delay relay

− Low & high pressure cut out

− Oil pressure cut out

− Low liquid temperature cut out

− Sequencer controller

− Perform installation and commissioning of split and package type air conditioning units.

• Follow all HSE regulations, precautions, standards, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.

• Co-operate with your employer (EHS) to enable the fulfillment of statutory obligations and other EHS IMS requirements.

Housekeeping

• Maintain the immediate and adjacent work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping

Time Management

• Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards
• Inform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job within the assigned time frame.

Communication

• Communicate with the Customer (viz. tenants) in a polite, courteous and professional manner to generate customer satisfaction

Uniforms

• Wear clean and tidy uniforms and present a clean and hygienic appearance before the customer to ensure proper presentation of the Company’s image

Tool Box

• Maintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by the company safely and in working condition
• Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.

Desired Candidate Profile

• ITI or High School Certificate with a relevant Trade Certificate of proficiency
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
