Position Title Lead - EHS

Position Summary To drive operational safety excellence at the plant by ensuring statutory compliance, effective implementation of safety management systems, risk mitigation, contractor safety management, and fostering a proactive safety culture. The role will partner with production, maintenance, projects, and contractors to achieve a Zero Harm workplace.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the plant safety management system.
• Conduct routine shop-floor safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and behaviors.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, SOPs, work permits, and company safety standards.
• Drive workplace risk reduction initiatives.
• Conduct HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment), JSA (Job Safety Analysis), and risk assessments for plant operations.
• Ensure adequate control measures are implemented for identified risks.
• Review safety aspects for new equipment, processes, and projects.
