MEPF Estimator

Stelsen Integrated Systems is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MEPF Estimator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for MEPF projects.
• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and scope of work.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare material and labor estimates.
• Request and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare competitive and accurate project proposals.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Sales, Procurement, and Project teams.
• Identify project requirements, exclusions, and potential cost risks.
• Review estimates for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain and update cost databases, supplier prices, and estimating references.
• Assist in bid preparation and clarification of technical and commercial requirements.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to verify project conditions and requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in MEPF estimating or a related construction/project environment.
• Knowledge of MEPF systems, materials, and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating tools/software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with good time management skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.
