Network Engineer

Syscon Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd. is looking for a motivated and skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team.

Experience

Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in enterprise networks.

Key Requirements

Network Security

• Basic understanding of Next-Generation Firewalls
• Firewall policies and security rules
• NAT and port forwarding
• IPsec and SSL VPN
• Firewall logging and troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of IDS/IPS, web filtering and application control
• Understanding of firewall HA concepts
• Fortinet NSE/FCF/FCA certification or training will be an advantage

Networking

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP
• IPv4 addressing and subnetting
• VLANs and trunking
• Static routing
• Basic understanding of OSPF
• DHCP and DNS
• Switching fundamentals
• LAN/WAN troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of SD-WAN

Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
• Presales Activities to be engaged with sales team.
• Prepare quarterly reports for SLA customers.
