Company Summary

My client is a well-established Japanese MNC specialising in electrical switchgear, automation systems, control systems and industrial engineering solutions. Their Singapore operation is based in the North and supports a range of engineering, manufacturing, testing and project activities for industrial applications.

ELECTRICAL TEST ENGINEER:

• Develop, implement and maintain testing procedures for products and systems.
• Conduct product testing, validation and performance evaluation.
• Analyse test results and investigate failures or technical issues.
• Troubleshoot and identify root causes of test and product-related problems.
• Work closely with engineering, production and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and improve test methods, processes and equipment to improve testing efficiency.
• Prepare test reports, technical documentation and relevant records.
• Support new product introduction, engineering changes and improvement projects.
• Ensure testing activities meet required quality and technical standards.

PROJECT ENGINEER:

• Plan, coordinate and execute engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered according to requirements and timelines.
• Coordinate project activities including design, testing, installation, implementation and commissioning.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare project documentation, reports and technical specifications.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors and relevant stakeholders when required.
• Support engineering changes and improvement projects.
• Ensure project activities comply with quality, safety and technical requirements.

PROCESS ENGINEER:

• Develop, improve and optimise manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Analyse production issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot process-related issues.
• Monitor production processes and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions and technical reports.
• Support new product introduction and process qualification activities.
• Conduct process testing, validation and evaluation where required.
• Participate in continuous improvement and engineering projects.
