Project EHS Coordinator [SL]

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the project's Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) programmes, maintaining compliance with applicable WSH and environmental requirements, and supporting continuous improvement in project EHS performance.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor the project's EHS and WSH management systems.

Coordinate with the EHS Manager, project team, clients and relevant agencies on EHS matters, audits and reporting.

Develop and execute monthly EHS programmes and promote safe working practices.

Conduct routine site inspections and monitor the closure of corrective and preventive actions.

Lead or coordinate investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses, and recommend measures to prevent recurrence.

Prepare and review risk assessments, safe work procedures, emergency response arrangements and EHS plans.

Ensure timely submission of reports and maintenance of EHS documentation, inspection records and training records.

Support internal and external audits, certification processes and relevant EHS award submissions.

Coordinate EHS Committee meetings and follow up on action items.

Monitor environmental performance, waste management and pollution control measures.

Work with project personnel to address EHS concerns and maintain a safe working environment.

Carry out other reasonable project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager.
