QA Engineer (Project Quality)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate quality related issues across all phases of product development for assigned launch projects
• Responsible to cascade customer project specific Quality requirements to the plant
• Facilitate and review key quality documentation including FMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, CC/SC list and drawings
• Attend and actively participate in Design Review
• Support Project Team Leader in customer PPAP
• Establish COP plan in compliance to customer/regulatory requirements.
• Ensure part shipped including prototypes are meeting specifications
• Drive root cause investigations for pre-production quality issues using structured 8D methodology.
• Capture Lesson Learned and drive continuous improvement feedback into future projects to enhance robustness and prevent repeat issues
• Responsible for manufacturing process release of launch projects

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing preferred) or related discipline
• Preferably  min 3 years experience in automotive environment
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and AIAG Core Tools
• Proficiency in quality tools and techniques, including SPC, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in interpretation of customer requirements and engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
