Service Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and

detail-oriented Service Engineer(experience

minimum-2 years) to join our

dedicated service team. This position

will involve hands-on experience with

the

installation, commissioning, maintenance,

and troubleshooting of medium

voltage

switchgear and associated equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess a

strong academic

background in Electrical Engineering

and a genuine passion for power systems

& switchgear.

Key Responsibilities:

1)Service engineers in the installation,

testing, and commissioning of

medium voltage switchgear (e.g., panels,

circuit breakers, relays) at

customer sites.

Job description :

1)Participate in routine preventive

maintenance and breakdown maintenance

activities of MV switchgear.

2. Learn to read and interpret electrical

schematics, wiring diagrams, and

technical

manuals.

3. Assist in diagnosing and

troubleshooting electrical faults in

switchgear and control

circuits.

4)Support in conducting site inspections

and preparing service reports

and

documentation.

5. Adhere strictly to all safety regulations,

industry standards, and company

protocols.

6)Collaborate effectively with team

members, project managers, and

clients.

7. Continuously learn about new products,

technologies, and service techniques

related to switchgear.

8)Assist in preparing tools, equipment,

and materials for service jobs.

9)Provide basic technical support and

assistance to customers under supervision.

10)Document service activities, including

work performed, parts used,

and time taken.

11)Need to lead the technicians and

get the job complete with customer

satisfaction.

12)Able to do electrical & Mechanical

modification under guidance

of OEM.

13)Able to do material / spares inspection,

Damage inspection at site/ customer

premises.

Qualifications and Skills:

14)Bachelors degree in electrical engineering

or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

/ EEE.

15)Strong foundational knowledge of

electrical power systems, circuit theory,

and

protection principles.

16)Familiarity with medium voltage

switchgear components and their

functions

is a plus.

17)Basic understanding of electrical

testing and measuring instruments.

18)Excellent problem-solving and analytical

skills.

19)Effective communication and interpersonal

skills.

20. Ability to work both independently

and as part of a team.

21. Willingness to travel to customer

sites in PAN India basis.

22. Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

23)A proactive attitude, eagerness to

learn, and a strong work ethic.
