Sr/ Molding Technician (8h Shift)

1.     Ensure that mold set-up, changeover, submission and housekeeping standards are met.

2.     Ensure molding machines and auxiliary equipment (Dryer, Mixer, robot) are set to correct parameters in meeting the production goals

3.     Perform repairs and replace worn or broken parts on the injection molds.

4.     Opening and closing, cleaning and lubricating of molds.

5.     Changeover of molds for a new production cycle or a different mold.

6.     Read and interpret blueprints.

7.     Inspection of incoming mold spares.

8.     Use a crane hoist to perform mold changes.

9.     Comprehensively understand injection molding process and provides necessary optimization and/or troubleshooting.

10.  Response to persistent process or quality related issues.

11.  Evaluate and optimise mold performance.

12.  Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.

13.  Proactively practice and adhere to EHS and relevant safety protocols, cGMP and other essential compliance procedures.
