Switchgear Production Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer – Switchgear Retrofit to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in switchgear retrofitting, production planning, electrical panel modifications, and quality control, ensuring all retrofit works meet technical specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities related to switchgear retrofit projects. Execute retrofit works for LV/MV switchgear panels, including circuit breaker replacement, panel modification, and component upgrades.
• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and technical specifications. Ensure proper installation and integration of circuit breakers, protection relays, CTs, VTs, busbars, and associated components.
• Monitor production schedules, material availability, and project deadlines. Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical standards, and safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during assembly, modification, and retrofit activities. Coordinate testing, commissioning, and final inspection of retrofitted switchgear.
• Maintain production records, technical documentation, and progress reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

• Relevant experience in switchgear production, electrical panel manufacturing, or LV/MV switchgear retrofit projects.
• Strong knowledge of switchgear components, circuit breakers, protection systems, and electrical control circuits.
• Experience in production planning, quality control, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of relevant IEC standards and electrical safety requirements.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
