1031 Exchange Coordinator (Remote)

Meister is a title and abstract company based in New York. We are hiring a remote 1031 exchange coordinator to manage like-kind exchange files from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Open and manage 1031 exchange files and track the 45-day identification and 180-day closing deadlines

• Prepare exchange agreements, assignment documents and identification notices

• Coordinate with clients, attorneys, lenders, escrow and title officers

• Track funds held for the exchange and confirm disbursements at closing

• Keep clear records and keep clients updated

Requirements:

• Experience with 1031 exchanges or title/escrow work

• Strong attention to deadlines and detail

• Clear written and phone communication
