Innovators Prep is a growing early childhood education center dedicated to providing high-quality, inclusive, and nurturing learning experiences for young children. We serve preschool-aged children in general education, integrated, and special education settings.

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, energetic, and dependable 1:1 Teacher's Aide to provide individualized support to a preschool student with special needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-on-one support to an assigned preschool student throughout the school day.
• Assist the student with classroom routines, transitions, learning activities, and daily tasks.
• Support the student's individualized goals as outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Implement behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental strategies under the guidance of the classroom teacher and related service providers.
• Encourage positive behavior, communication, independence, and peer interactions.
• Assist with personal care, toileting, feeding, and hygiene as needed.
• Ensure the student's safety and provide appropriate supervision at all times.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrators to support the student's progress.
• Maintain confidentiality and a positive, professional attitude.
• Participate in classroom activities while promoting inclusion and independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Experience supporting children with autism, developmental delays, behavioral challenges, or other special needs strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of positive behavior support strategies is a plus.
• Ability to remain patient, calm, and supportive in challenging situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and passionate about working with young children.
• Must successfully complete all required background checks, fingerprinting, and clearances.
