About the role

Hotel Security Officer (Apprentice) and Hotel Security Supervisor (Apprentice) positions. The Security Officer role involves security patrols within the hotel premises, entrance and exit control, and visitor registration. The Security Supervisor role involves coordinating and supervising the daily operations of the hotel security team, arranging security staff postings and rest day schedules, and leading the team in handling emergency and urgent incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security patrols within hotel premises, control entrances and exits, and register visitors
• Assist in handling emergencies and urgent incidents such as fires and medical emergencies
• Maintain order in hotel public areas and ensure the safety of guests and staff
• Execute other security-related duties assigned by supervisors
• Coordinate and supervise the daily operations of the hotel security team
• Arrange security staff postings, rest days, and replacement schedules
• Lead the team in handling emergency and urgent incidents and prepare incident reports
• Assist in formulating and implementing security standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Maintain close communication with hotel management and other departments

About you

• Hold a valid Security Personnel Permit and Recognised Security Training Certificate (QAS)
• Fluent in Cantonese; basic Putonghua and English communication ability preferred
• Punctual, responsible, with good service attitude
• First aid certificate or AED certificate preferred
• At least 6 months of hotel or commercial building security work experience (for Supervisor role)
• Basic team management or coordination experience preferred (for Supervisor role)
• Good communication ability, fluent in Cantonese, able to write Chinese and basic English (for Supervisor role)
• Strong sense of responsibility, leadership potential and adaptability (for Supervisor role)
