This is a true M365 migration across an Interagency system. The person MUST have experience doing that in a complex network environment.

About the Company

Client has an opening for a Systems Engineer and Integrator to support Public Sector Solutions. This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Work to be performed at a government customer site in Laurel, MD.

Systems Engineer and Integrator to support Public Sector Solutions, performing systems analysis, integration, and technical leadership for enterprise solutions and M365 migration/integration at a government customer site.

Responsibilities

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct gap analysis of existing systems as it relates to migration to/integration of M365 software/systems.
• Conduct analysis of alternatives.
• Suggest paths forward for enterprise solutions.

General Responsibilities:

• Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and highlevel system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering, technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
• Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
• Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Required Skills

• Compliance with DOD 8570.01M with a minimum certification of IAM Level I. CAP, GSLC, Security +
• Knowledge of M365 service offering and implementation/integration strategies.
• Understanding of IT system architectures.
• Experience with security and Identity and Access Management as it relates to cross tenant collaboration.
• Proven ability to conduct analysis of alternatives of complex systems.
