1pm-6pm for PCA Driver - Weekends

About the Role:

Caring Companions has an opening in Torrington for a caregiver who enjoys fairs, movies, outings, etc. We have a client who wants to go out and about on Saturdays during Fair Season.

Torrington: 1pm-6pm every Saturday (shift can also be 12pm-5pm)

Earnings:

$18-$20/hour based off experience.

Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety and comfort.
• Monitor and report any changes in client condition.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental well-being.
• Medication Reminders.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA or HHA certification preferred
• Experience in home care, rehab or assisted living environments required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own personal vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transfer clients safely, with a maximum weight of 30lbs.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
• Availability to work weekends and flexible hours.
• Background check and references required.
