Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Support residents with medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures
• Provide compassionate care and support tailored to individual needs
• Engage residents in group activities, socialization, and recreational programs to enhance mental and emotional well-being
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control standards

Qualifications

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred
• Certification in CBRF, CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as EMR systems or medication administration are advantageous
• Ability to operate a standard passenger car for transportation needs
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is a plus
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks as needed

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
