We are looking for a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Chef to join our kitchen team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about food, eager to learn, and ready to start a career in hospitality. You will work alongside experienced chefs while learning practical kitchen skills, food preparation, hygiene standards, and daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
• Learn kitchen procedures, recipes, and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Follow food safety and hygiene requirements
• Help with stock rotation and storage
• Support the team during service
• Take direction from senior chefs and kitchen management
• Attend required apprenticeship training

About You

• Genuine interest in cooking and hospitality
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Reliable, punctual, and well presented
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
• No previous experience required, but a passion for food is essential
