Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment tailored specifically for toddlers. Your enthusiasm for child development and experience working with young children will inspire curiosity, foster growth, and support the social-emotional development of each child. You will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities, maintaining classroom routines, and building strong relationships with both children and their families. Duties

• Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to two-year-olds that promotes exploration, creativity, and learning
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that encourages positive behavior and social skills
• Supervise children closely to ensure their safety at all times during indoor and outdoor activities
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates
• Maintain accurate records of children's developmental progress, attendance, and daily activities in compliance with licensing standards
• Incorporate child supervision best practices, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively in emergencies
• Collaborate with team members to plan classroom activities that support early childhood education standards and childhood development goals
• Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; experience specifically with two-year-old's is highly preferred. CDA certification is expected and we can help you get yours.
• Knowledge of child development instruction principles for toddlers and early childhood education best practices
• Demonstrated ability to work with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or additional support
• Experience in classroom management, behavior management, and implementing age-specific curricula
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare
• Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, or similar safety training is required; ongoing training in childcare practices is a plus
• Previous nannying or babysitting experience working with infants or toddlers can be valuable in this role

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
