About the Role:

During your apprenticeship you will:

• Complete formal studies at TAFE.
• Gain practical, hands-on training under the guidance of skilled and supportive tradespeople.
• Learn how to maintain, repair and provide technical support for a fleet of locomotives.
• Develop your skills in fault analysis, maintenance, fleet performance and technical support.

On successful completion, you’ll graduate with a Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Systems Electrician) – opening the door to a long-term career with a globally recognised company.

• Good communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of people.
• Basic computer skills.
• Year 12 School Certificate (or equivalent).
• Commitment to safety, quality and the full apprenticeship program.

As part of our apprentice recruitment process, you’ll be required to complete:

• An onsite aptitude test.
• Pre-employment checks, which may include police, medical, and drug/alcohol testing.
