254984 Pharmacy Support Worker

We are looking for a motivated, proactive and enthusiastic Pharmacy Support Worker to join the Community Directorate Pharmacy Team within the Annandale & Eskdale Cluster.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of pharmacy services to patients across Dumfries and Galloway, working closely with GP practices and the wider multidisciplinary team.

The Pharmacy Support Worker plays an important role in the day-to-day running of the Pharmacy hub. Responsibilities include responding to medicines-related queries, supporting team communication, assisting with level 1 medicines reconciliation, completing audits, and contributing to care home review work. The role involves regular communication with patients, GP practice staff and a range of healthcare professionals.

You will be based within the pharmacy hub in Lockerbie or Annan, working in a varied and supportive multi-professional environment. Full training will be provided through our induction programme, and you will be supported to develop the knowledge and skills required for the role.
